San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) March 21, 2008 -- Since launching sylviatoyindustries.com in November 2007 with only a front page, a bio and a contact page as a site for her performance art videos, Nena St. Louis has increased her visitors over 400% by increasing the content through an average of 3 updates per month. Ms. St. Louis has had the benefit of her webmaster Robert Harris' keen sensibility and the experience and wisdom of artist/designer, Michael B. Lewis.
sylviatoyindustries is developing keen sense about the content her visitors expect. In addition to adding a link to her weblog,
http://sylviatoyindustries.blogspot.com, she also has added a page for her "other work," i.e., nano-documentaries in response to visitors' inquiries, and added the work of guest artist Elizabeth Fuller to the Extras page. sylviatoyindustries' videomaking and techie peers might also find these links valuable:
the educational, nonprofit Organization with Heart as its last name! "GeniusRocket connects your creative talent with challenger brands to give you the chance to earn real money."
"AditAll is a video advertising community where users can quickly, simply and inexpensively create, produce and distribute video ads."
AnthroArcheoArt.org is "the educational, nonprofit Organization with Heart as its last name!" (high resolution, low cost royalty-free digital images)
This Side Up Design, the fine art and design site of Robert Harris, the webmaster for sylviatoyindustries, is a resource for Rob's artwork. Rob's unique designs for clothing are available from unique-gift-art.com.
sylviatoyindustries also recommends ScreenCast as a reasonably priced, secure service for virtual storage of files online.
Nena St. Louis continues to pursue the artistic goal of merging performance, image, and metaphor to entertain, make a little magic (i.e., http://sylviatoyindustries.com/prayer.html), and maybe even educate. Her goal as a videographer is to make her autobiographical performance art videos meaningful and useful to nonprofits such as National Alliance for the Mentally Ill) and educational institutions.
sylviatoyindustries videos are downloadable from deviantART under a Creative Commons license.
